TopSellingDomains.com has been domaining since the beginning of the year 2000, the end of the dot-com bubble burst.

Domaining is the business of speculating in domain names. Domain names are the internet addresses of the World Wide Web and come in a wide variety of extensions (.com, .net, & .org are the most common).

We are, domainers, professionals who deal in domain names. We buy and sell names like a real estate investor would buy land and buildings. Sometimes it is like playing Monopoly. The parallels between the domain name industry and real estate and plentiful, but each is in a different stage, semi-complicated and over-simplified.

We generate income from the sales of the domain names we "own" or that are found in our portfolio. We generate additional revenue through the development of our domain names, using different advertising methods and affiliate commissions.

This industry is relatively young, consistently expanding, and rapidly evolving. Domainers, domain Investing, and the individuals and corporations that operate in this industry is still a developing phenomenon.
